In their natural unpeeled state, it can hold up for months in a cool/room temperature. Note, it tends to dry out in the fridge once cut.

Baby carrot is an immature carrot and pulled from the ground before they reach full size. They are about 3 or 4 inches in length. Baby carrot is shaped with rounded edges, they are bright in orange color, but they don’t have the same thick core like the full-size carrot. Baby carrots have become a lunch box staple. People love them for their convenience – sweet and fun to eat and not to mention it is also a healthy food choice for kids and adults.

Rainbow carrots are a mix of colorful varieties at their immature stages for young harvest. They are about 3 or 4 inches in length.Typical varieties consist of Yellow, White, Purple, Black, Nantes and Red making it perfect array of tender-crisp, sweet and earthy heirloom carrots.

Carrots, Nantes Organic

Available in the fall months through the spring months.

The Nantes carrots are named after the city of Nantes, the largest and most important city in Brittany. Its has a near perfect cylindrical root with smooth skin and entirely near-red flesh, both sweet and mild in flavor.  Just like a traditional carrot, the top greens are edible as well. Because the Nantes variety is much sweeter than the traditional carrots, it makes extra deliciously for salads and/or snacking.
